Via TRM Accessibility Statement

Our Commitment to Accessibility

At Via TRM, we are committed to providing an accessible and inclusive experience for all users, including those with disabilities. Our mission is to ensure that our software solutions meet the highest standards of usability and accessibility, empowering institutions to deliver seamless, equitable services.

Accessibility Conformance and Documentation

Via TRM strives to conform to the following accessibility standards:

  • WCAG 2.2 Levels A and AA
  • Section 508 Standards (Functional Criteria)

We employ the Voluntary Product Accessibility Template (VPAT 2.5 INT) to assess and document our compliance with these standards. The evaluation includes:

  • Accessible Rich Internet Applications (ARIA)
  • User Agent Accessibility Guidelines (UAAG)
  • Authoring Tool Accessibility Guidelines (ATAG)
  • EPub Accessibility Guidelines (as applicable)

Accessibility Testing and Review

We conduct regular accessibility reviews, including:

  • Internal evaluations to ensure compliance with established standards.
  • Third-party audits by accessibility experts to validate our findings and identify areas for improvement.

We are committed to transparency and provide the results of these tests on a yearly basis. You can access our most up-to-date third-party VPAT audit here: trust.viatrm.com

Accessibility Features

Via TRM incorporates several features designed to enhance accessibility, including but not limited to:

  • Compatibility with screen readers and assistive technologies.
  • High-contrast visual design options.
  • Keyboard navigation support.
  • Customizable user preferences for improved usability.
  • Accessibility help buttons in more complex workflows (i.e. Form Builder).

Known Accessibility Gaps and Workarounds

While we comply with federally and state-mandated accessibility standards, we continually seek opportunities to enhance our approach. Every new product and feature release is tested against web accessibility standards, and all employees receive annual training on accessibility best practices. Accessibility gaps, when identified, are promptly prioritized and addressed, with a commitment to resolve them within 30 days of reporting.
